Juan Deminicis – Dualism Remixes [Musique de Lune]

The latest offering from Musique de Lune finds the label presenting new interpretations of 'Dualism' by Juan Demincis. As a favourite of progressive music's top tastemakers in Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J, the Argentinean artist has released on some of the genre's finest imprints over the course of his fifteen year career. Hoomidas, Lost & Found, Replug, Souksonic and Sudbeat Music have all been regular landing spots for the talented Buenos Aires resident. Also a highly regarded DJ, Juan has programmed music for some of his country's trendiest venues, in turn sharing the stage with 16 Bit Lolitas, D-Nox, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Jody Wisternoff and Roy Rosenfeld. Also no stranger to Musique de Lune, Juan made his label debut in December of 2022 with the 'Illusions' EP. Spread out over five tracks, the release was praised for it's depth, variety and club-effective qualities, earning support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now, looking to breathe new life into one of the EP's standout selections 'Dualism', Musique de Lune invites Suduaya and Dave Walker to re-imagine the track in their own essence.

The first interpretation of 'Dualism' is provided by Suduaya who makes his label debut following a string of impressive productions for Arcelya Records. The French producer has also brought his progressive psytrance amalgamation to long-standing imprints such as Iboga Records and Iono Music. For his 'Dualism' interpretation, Suduaya showcases his trademark crunchy sound through muscular grooves and a bevy of pyrotechnic effects, a framework which allows for a fragmented, tripped out take on the lead to further tease the senses of both listeners and dancefloors alike.

Making his label debut with the second and final interpretation of 'Dualism' is Dave Walker. Whether producing as one half of The Stupid Experts or in solo capacity, UK artist Dave Walker has had many successful releases on various labels such as Balance Music, Bedrock, Forensic and Mango Alley, in turn generating plays across Radio 1 and Kiss FM. Here he puts his distinctive progressive touch on 'Dualism', crafting a chunky key-changing groove which provides the foundation for layers of finely tuned percussion, and a re-processed take on the lead which continues to elevate mood towards a rejuvenating finale, one which rounds out the release on an uplifting note.
