Gamba – Victoria EP [Soundteller Records]

Soundteller Records welcomes rising talent Gamba to the label with 'Victoria'. Leandro Gamba aka Gamba hails from Buenos Aires and started his career as a DJ in 2016. Fast forward four years and he has formed the ThreeOne event promotions company while also playing some of his countries most prestigious venues such as Bahrain and EsVedra. Now set to launch his production career he debuts on Soundteller with 'Victoria'.

Spread across two tracks it’s the enchanting vibes of the title selection which opens the EP. Tastefully tough yet delightfully tranquil, it’s a rhythmic journey for the heart and mind. Warm groves, luminous arps and an array of timeless melodic themes unite across this near nine minute journey. The main break is perhaps the emotional core of the track, a nostalgic centrepiece which should find admiration from old and new progressive music fans.

The release concludes with ‘Odyssey’ which furthers the hypnotic leanings of the EP. Anchored by a warm, but sightly darker undercurrent, it’s a bouncy arp and buzzing effects which resonate deeply throughout the first act. A healthy complement of percussion adds immense drive as the narrative shifts into trippier territory before an arpeggiated break elevates mood, perfectly setting up a groovy drop. It rounds out a spectacular EP from Gamba, who makes his Soundteller debut a highly memorable one. Don't miss it.
