Releases E.F.G. – Temple [Stellar Fountain] By Release Promo Posted on 3rd September 2022 7 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Stellar Fountain opens the month of September by welcoming E.F.G back to the label for a new EP. Polish producer Oleg Szyszkin otherwise known as E.F.G first appeared on Stellar Fountain in 2015 with 'Make it Count', before returning to the label last year with 'Mosaic'. Also finding a home on BCSA, Electronic Tree and Proton's Particles, E.F.G. now makes a welcome return to Stellar Fountain with 'Temple', alongside remixes from Dulus and Ignacio Berardi. Title track 'Temple' finds E.F.G. leaning in an organic direction. Whether focusing on the striking lead theme, fluttery vocal gates or the spacious framework which houses his exotic percussive arrangements, there is a sleek calming vibe to his work that you just can’t ignore. It’s this smooth storyboarding and mildly cross-cultural influence which leads to the companion piece 'Five Waves’. E.F.G’s studio versatility shines here as he focuses on more of a melodic techno sound, while still keeping with the cross-cultural vibe of 'Temple'. Clever percussive coaxes, retro-leads and electric bass stabs fuel what is a lively six-minute journey. Famed for releases via 3rd Avenue, All Day I Dream and Flug Lab, Dulus returns to the label with the first interpretation of 'Temple'. The Colombian born, Dominican Republic based artist brings a greater organic quality to the track, utilizing the main themes in a less pronounced and classy fashion, while adding a nice complement of exotic drums and rolling grooves to translate that message to the dance floor. The release concludes with Ignacio Berardi providing the second and final interpretation of 'Temple'. Following on from his 'Rise' single for the label, Ignacio returns to Stellar Fountain for his first remix. The Argentine brings a progressive sound to the track with beefed up percussion and soulful strums, all while using those distinctive themes to create a near eight minute journey that's nicely suited for mid-set action. It caps off a well rounded package from Stellar Fountain, one which sees E.F.G., Dulus and Ignacio all make impressive returns to the label. Don't miss it.
