Dmitry Molosh – Frame [Deepwibe Underground]

Deepwibe Underground welcomes Dmitry Molosh back to the label for his debut single. The Belarus based artist made his first appearance on the Estonian imprint earlier this year with a well received remix of 'Elysium' by The Cobb. Now a veteran of the progressive house underground, Dmitry continues to showcase his music on the genre's premiere imprints such as Cid Inc's Replug Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Continuing to forge a bond with Deepwibe Underground, Dmitry lands back on the label with 'Frame' alongside remixes from Weird Sounding Dude and Ewan Rill.

Dmitry’s ability to craft exhilarating musical journeys continues to shine on ‘Frame’. Tough yet groovy, its shapely foundation is carved to perfection with rolling undulation driving momentum forward. Developing in waves across the first movement; striking stabs and layers of percussion unite for dynamic moments, before melodic fragments lighten the vibe leading into the main break. Short but impactful, the centrepiece elevates mood through tastefully tense modulation, moving energy forward as the beats drop for a tasteful crescendo and rousing finale. With Dmitry's recent remix for Deepwibe Underground sitting firmly in Beatport's Progressive House Top 10 this could certainly be set for a similar fate.

Returning to the label and providing the first remix is Weird Sounding Dude. Having made his Deepwibe Underground debut in February of 2020 with a remix of 'Timanfaya' by Adrian Roman, the Indian artist now follows up outings for Sudbeat and The Soundgarden with an excellent remix here. Similar in tone to the original, Weird Sounding Dude expands on the groovy aspects of the composition all while maintaining it's buoyant, edgy flair. Dreamier in scope as well, timely overlays bring a whimsical feel as the narrative evolves, perfectly setting up a more rhythmic finale.

Rounding out the release is label artist Ewan Rill who provides the second and final remix. The Russian producer leans further away from the main themes of the original with a trippy, arp led version. The main line sits just off in the distance, enough to tease your senses with it's bouncy drive, while allowing the robust groove and striking elements to lead the command throughout. A stunning remix from Ewan which rounds out another superb offering from Deepwibe Underground, a label whose global appeal continues to grow at a rapid rate. Highly recommended.
