D-Nox, Lonya, DJ Zombi, DJ Nasa – Una Musica [Beat Boutique]

The latest release from Beat Boutique finds D-Nox, Lonya, DJ Zombi and DJ Nasa uniting for a new single entitled 'Una Musica'. It's not often you see four artists with this much history come together on a project but this quartet of producers has well over half a century of experience in electronic music. This much anticipated collaboration arrives fresh off an eventful ADE alongside remixes from Rauschhaus and Yost Koen.

Beginning with punchy beats, layers of percussion and meditative pulses, it’s the space and roll of the groove which becomes instantly compelling. Perfectly contoured and full of great character, it anchors what is a pulsating and hugely hypnotic slice of progressive house. Vibrant and timeless across its nine minute journey, the main break holds the greatest sense of nostalgia, as phasing vocals melt away into dulcet tones. Muted yet heartfelt, they make for a memorable interlude before eventually giving way to a smooth, atmospheric finale.

The first interpretation of 'Una Musica' is provided by Rauschhaus who makes his label debut. The German producer has been a constant fixture of the Beatport charts for the last two years and has showcased his music on Beatfreak Recordings, Eleatics Records, Einmusika Recordings, Timeless Moment and Stil Vor Talent. Now landing on Beat Boutique he provides a stunning take on 'Una Musica'. Staying true to the groove from the original the German artist builds a smooth narrative across the first act. The main break proves to be the turning point (so to speak) with a highly emotive rendition of the main theme perfectly setting up a warm drop and melodious conclusion.

The release concludes with one of this year's hottest talents Yost Koen providing the second and final interpretation of 'Una Musica'. Hailing from Jerusalem, the Israeli artist has been logging hours in the studio for nearly 25 years. Known for his borderless approach and live sensibilities, Yost has showcased his music on some of the underground's most highly regarded label's, most notably Aeon, ATLANT, Innervisions and Watergate Records. Now debuting on Beat Boutique, Yost delivers a creative rendition of 'Una Musica' to round the release out in style. Atop a warm, chunky groove comes striking stabs, buzzing synths and luminous tones. It’s a unique contrast of grit and shimmer, leading to a contemporary break filled with melody and tension, before perfectly segueing into a stomping final act. A stunning remix from Yost which rounds out yet another top tier release from DJ Zombi's Beat Boutique. Highly recommended.
