This week finds Cortona making his District Rec debut with an excellent remix of 'Huhu' by Patch Park. To celebrate the release of his 'Huhu' remix, Cortona has shared his current 10 favorite club tracks. Enjoy! 1. Patch Park - Mr Mysterious [District] Another monster track from the Patch Park boys, easily my favourite producers and label around at the moment. I could have had 3 or 4 of their tracks/remixes in my chart (they have done a rather large remix of Hydrogen Rockers - Musica coming soon on my Plastic Fantastic label) 2. Cortona – Xtaci (Extended Dub) [Bedrock] Some self-promotion on John Digweed’s legendary label. Happy to say I have more tracks coming later in the year on Bedrock. 3. Budakid - Freedom (Patrice Bäumel Remix) [Siamese] I just love everything Patrice does, the guy is a genius. 4. Jon Towell - 49 Miles (Original Mix) [Keep Thinking] One of my favourite tracks and labels around at the moment, Jon’s percussive groove is so infectious, with an old-school twist to it. 5. Mita Gami - All By Myself [Maccabi] That bassline! 6. Barbarella - My Name Is Barbarella (Patch Park Remix) [bootleg] More goodness from Patch Park taking you back to the drums. Love it! 7. Zuccasam - Come Home (Dowden Remix) [Nightcolours] Another favourite label and this Dowden remix just goes off. 8. Hydrogen Rockers - Musica (Nila Remix) [Plastic Fantastic] Released on the 14th, Nila has done 2 excellent remixes that combine grooves with melody. One to watch! 9. Left 2 Dust - Attending (Paul Hazendonk & Return To Saturn Remix) [Melodiclab] Full of energy, I just love this remix. 10. NUFECTS & Juan Deminicis - Clover [Mango Alley] Hugely impressive label that you can rely on. This is perfect for warming things up with a funky groove.
