How did you discover electronic music and can you pinpoint a moment where you thought 'this is what I want to do'? Electronic music is not something new to us, throughout our childhood we grew up as musicians, it started to inspire us and inspired we received also around brought us to start to try to produce electronic music. Starting with the obvious, tell us how you guys met and formed a partnership. And were you both releasing solo previous to meeting? It is a nice story - Yossi worked as an assistant for a friend of mine, DJing at weddings, and at the time I had built a name for myself as a Trance DJ. Next up we have Blindfold Recordings label boss Pete Oak with his new single ‘Maleficent’ accompanied by a strong remix from Stil Vor Talent wonder-producer Kellerkind. The title track may trick some childhood memories, as this being the name of the Mistress of All Evil from the 50’s cartoon, Sleeping Beauty. Listen to the lyrics and you will know why. ‘Maleficent’ is a deep and emotional track filled with vocal textures, sweeping melodies and a consistent deep percussive groove. Pete Oak is on the main vocal for this emotive piece. Kellerkind takes the original to the next level with an explosive afro interpretation. Yeah But No from Berlin released their self-titled debut album in November, accompanied by a couple of singles and EPs. After touring on their own and as support for Sylvan Esso and Zoot Woman, another extensive tour segment is due to begin in the May 2018. The duo from Berlin is comprised of techno producer Douglas Greed and singer Fabian Kuss. The former made a name for himself in the techno scene and recently released an album together with Mooryc with their mutual project Eating Snow.
