Andre Moret – Prospective [Auditen Music]

Andre Moret debuts on Dynacom’s Auditen music with a three track artist showcase entitled ‘Prospective’. Hailing from São Paulo but now based in Campinas, the Brazilian artist is fresh off a collaborative EP with Colombian star Kamilo Sanclemente. Coming courtesy of Balkan Connection, 'Acacias' boasted two sublime originals alongside heavyweight remixes from Petar Dundov and Arnas D. Also delivering a solo EP for Deersky's excellent Soundteller Records in March, Andre now debuts on Auditen with 'Prospective'.

It’s an amazing thing to watch talent grow and Andre is progressing with each successive release in his young career. Beginning with 'Prospective' he explores current progressive trends with strong rhythmic elements, subversive musicality and a deep, rippling groove. Airy atmospherics elevate mood as the first act evolves before a melodic yet edgy break seals it's brilliance. The EP's second selection 'Rhythm' continues the peak time sensibility set by it's predecessor with a compact groove and tight melodic narrative. Punchy and driving, it's momentum is palpable, moving forward with a dominate air, before perfectly setting up a tension filled break and pulsating finale. The release concludes with 'U-Phonic' which keeps the energy and mood rising. A fuller, more driving groove sits at the foundation while uniquely hypnotic arps bring waves of melody and colour. Groovy and impactful in equal measure, it rounds out an inspired collection of music from Andre, who continues to be one of Brazil's fastest rising progressive music talents. Highly recommended.
