Releases Alberto Blanco – Eternal Sunshine [Dopamine White] By Release Promo Posted on 26th February 2020 7 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin The latest from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Alberto Blanco to the label for his debut single. The Argentinean artist has been a fixture of the progressive underground since first arriving in 2012 with a release on Stripped Digital. Alberto's smooth melodic style eventually found a home on Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue and Soundteller Records. Having appeared on parent label Dopamine Music in 2015, Alberto now debuts on Dopamine White with 'Eternal Sunshine' alongside remixes from Niceshot, Gaston Ponte and Rodrigo Baroni. Beginning with the original mix Alberto crafts a smooth, atmospheric slice of progressive house. Punchy beats, dulcet rhythms and wispy effects begin the seven-minute journey. Senses heighten as chord stabs and gaseous sweeps unite across a tranquil first act. Sparkling arps and percussive flurries advance the narrative, flowing effortlessly into an expansive break, before perfectly segueing into a smooth finale. The first interpretation of 'Eternal Sunshine' is provided by Niceshot who makes his label debut. The Argentinean artist had a successful 2019 with releases on AMITABHA and Dreamers. Now following a contribution to MNL's 'Seasons | Winter' collection to begin 2020 the Buenos Aires resident provides a solid rendition of 'Eternal Sunshine'. Taking a cue from the original, Niceshot strips the track down for a deeper more introspective take. Clattering percussion and intriguing bass swells make for a sultry first act, before opening up an emotional reservoir during the main break. Reflective and rhythmic, it's a unique centrepiece, creating a quiet calm and perfectly setting up a groovy final act. Next up on the remixes is Gaston Ponte who also makes his label debut. Tipped as one of Argentina's top up and coming talents, progressive music tastemaker Hernan Cattaneo has been one of the first to sing his praises. Releases on Auditen Music, ICONYC Noir, One Of A Kind, Soundteller Records and Stellar Fountain have all been well received. Now getting 2020 off to a great start he provides a superb interpretation of 'Eternal Sunshine'. The smooth energy from the original translates well with a chunky low end ultimately setting the pace. The rhythmic qualities come up a notch for a groovy hip swinging jaunt across the first act, before spacey synth motifs add an astral flair during the home stretch. The release concludes with Rodrigo Baroni making his label debut and providing the final interpretation of 'Eternal Sunshine'. The Argentinean artist follows 2019 releases on Massive Harmony Records and Nube Music with a great remix here. Warm, open and tastefully melodic, the first act runs like a fluid storyboard. Gradually opening up with luminous clusters before two glowing breaks seals it's heavenly appeal. A gorgeous remix from Rodrigo which rounds out another must have release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White.
