Sam Rose will be making his debut with his ‘Signal 55’ EP. Two eccentric and fresh originals accompanied by the progressive touch of Tantum with a remix on the title track. The title track ‘Signal 55’ kicks off the EP very strong. A crisp and tight composition consisting of only a few catching elements is forming the foundation of this powerful track. On top of this foundation a sawing and straight-to-the-point lead is making its introduction. In his remix Tantum brought in some more progressive elegance. Recognizable parts of the original come and go throughout the arrangement, while keeping a timid tension. This all works towards the more uplifting second part that keeps the energy high. The third track is titled ‘Echoes Of Resolve’. An unmissable groove of percussion and vocal one-shots immediately sets the tone, strengthened by intertwining melodies. This results in an effective groover with a deep melodic techno feeling.
