Noted for their euphoric leads and emotive melodies, German duo Add-us has managed to carve out a unique place in the world of melodic house and techno. Formed in 2018, the duo has achieved measurable success across the better part of seven years, taking their club friendly sound to Beatfreak, Future Romance, ICONYC, Parquet and Ritter Butzke. 2023 would mark the duo’s Astral Records debut with the well-received ‘Losing Me’, a two-track project bound by electric lines and main room appeal, one which would propel Add-us to subsequent releases via 3000 Grad Records, Black Rose and ZEHN Records. With 2024 wrapping with a strong debut for Lelantus Records, Add-us opens their 2025 schedule with their second and much anticipated Astral project ‘Hiding Faces’. Title selection ‘Hiding Faces’ arrives with a melodic peak time approach, further sealing the duo’s ability to tip a dancefloor over the edge. Punchy kick drums, electric arps and powerful percussive arrangements carve out an energetic path into the main break, eventually revealing blurred reverberations, fiery synth mutations and a colossal build which spearheads an epic finale. The second and final selection 'Chapter' lands with equal dancefloor vigor, as Add-us flexes their club-effective approach across a concise six-minute journey. Striking stabs, percussive flurries and gated vocals converge for a prophetic first act, continually evolving across the break as basslines wobble and effects orbit, before the lead re-emerges in triumphant fashion for a finalef that is both energetic and confident.
