Polyptych returns welcoming ANMA back to the label for a new single alongside remixes from Dowden and Miguel A.F. The French artist first appeared on the Russian imprint in February of last year with a remix of JOVEM's 'Tilupa'. July of the same year then yielded the well received 'Sequency' EP, which was followed by key releases for Dynamica and Massive Harmony Records. Now following an EP for Amber Long's Modern Agenda, ANMA lands back on Polyptych with 'Don't Turn'.

The original mix leads the release off with a dark and compelling vibe. Anchored by a tough, punchy groove it’s growling stabs and stunning effects first capture your imagination. Fiery percussion and arcane rhythms push momentum forward before buzzing synths and a tension filled tone unite for a dynamic moment. A spaced arp pushes the narrative further into astral territory, ultimately reaching an exhilarating apex during the main break.

The first interpretation of 'Don't Turn' is provided bu Dowden who makes his label debut. Previously known as Onez!e, the Canadian artist has settled into his Dowden moniker quite nicely with appearances on Beatfreak, Beat Boutique, ICONYC and John 00 Fleming’s JOOF Recordings. Always a creative remixer, Dowden takes 'Don't Turn' into tougher, techno inspired territory. Dark, subversive and tastefully sinister the first act runs with a rumbling growl. It’s this big room appeal that leads to the introduction of a wonky lead motif; mildly acidic it's unique character plays off the crunchy rhythmic core before a wave of noise ignites a powerful drop coming out the main break.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Don't Turn' is Miguel A.F. who returns to the label for his second appearance. The Spanish artist first arrived on the progressive underground in 2016 and has since showcased his music on Soundteller Records, Freegrant Music, Bullfinch and Capital Heaven. Now following his 'Breaking Wind' EP for Polyptych in October of 2017, Miguel returns to the label for his first remix. Sitting as a lovely complement to the original the Spanish artist takes the edge off just a touch for a floaty yet still incredibly powerful interpretation. Buzzing synths and ominous atmospheres add just the right amount of tension as they blanket the razor sharp core, before reaching a heavenly apex during a trance inspired finale. A superb remix from Migeul which rounds out another awesome release for Polyptych, who continue to be one of Russia’s top progressive house imprints.
