With the ‘Affront EP’, the Berlin-based DJs and producers teamed up for a more intense collaboration. The sound of the EP gets under one’s skin with its energetic and powerful tunes but is also deep and ethereal at the same time. A record truly made for every floor, club or crowd that admires straight, resolute and soulfully crafted techno. The most groovy track of the ‘Affront’ EP is probably the remix of ‘Insecure’ by Boy Next Door and Pascale Voltaire. A rhythmic bass line slowly gets supported by a snapping clap giving room to the cheerful melody. The second break steadily builds up the increasing tension until breaking down almost completely a few seconds before the powerful drop.
