On August 12, 2017, the Love Mobiles of the 26th Street Parade will roll up to the Zurich Lakeside. With this year’s motto, the organizers want to emphasize that while much in life is fleeting, the values of the Street Parade are forever. The love for its ideals will never end. Year after year, this unique event continues to fascinate visitors as well as the organizers anew. The demonstration for the values of love, peace, freedom, and tolerance has remained, after 25 years, an unexplainable phenomenon. Yes, the Street Parade is still a demonstration even today! A demonstration that calls out for living together in peace and tolerance. A demonstration, open to everyone who wants to dance out the ideals of the Street Parade to electronic music. Hundreds of thousands of people of all kinds – regardless of race, skin color, religion, sexual orientation, or of which interest group they belong to – will be living the spirit of the Street Parade. Zurich buzzes with this unique, magical Street Parade atmosphere, filled with party animals, as depicted on this year’s poster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey4ARQq4K18 Well-organized routes As in the past years, the Street Parade will take place on the established, reliable route around the Zurich Lake basin. For the first time, the festival grounds will be managed in a structured way. In addition to the official parade with the Love Mobiles, and the festival with the seven stages, there will also be food-zones and chill-out areas. Environmentally conscious with „Environment-Francs” For the first time, the Street Parade will, for every drink sold, invest one Franc in the environment and local charities. Through this, the organizers support responsibility and awareness for our environment and surrounding nature. Among other measures, waste will be separated into glass, aluminum and PET and recycled appropriately. Visitors and residents will experience increased comfort through the 100 additional toilet facilities brought into the city center, along with teams to collect used glass. The Street Parade uses green energy for all stages and food booths and thanks to the engagement at myclimate.org, all Love Mobiles will be driving climate-neutrally. International top labels in the parade For the first time, five Love Mobiles in the parade will feature some of the worldwide hippest dance-labels: Elrow, the bpm Festival, Hyte, Masquerade, World Club Dome and Electric Love. In total, 30 Love Mobiles will be lined up, playing various electronica music styles from Deep House to Hardstyle. Luciano, Jamie Jones, Dubfire, Monika Kruse, Loco Dice and an additional 200 DJs Visitors can again expect a world-class line-up. As international headliners, the hippest DJs in the world will be guests in the city on the Limmat River. All DJs, whether international stars or newcomers, help to carry on the spirit of the Street Parade and perform without pay. The complete line-up: streetparade.com. be-at.tv and TeleZüri: worldwide television coverage For the first time, the Street Parade will be internationally broadcast live over a span of eleven hours. be-at.tv, the largest festival broadcaster in the world, will report live on four channels from the stages and the parade with the Love Mobiles. Up to 15 million viewers are expected. As in previous years, our long-term media partner, TeleZüri, will air four hours live from the route and will broadcast the popular “Best-of” program in the late-night hours. Six stages- festival in six worlds The six stages along the route will round off the wide-ranging music selection, starting at 1pm and ending at midnight. Cooperation with the city, the sponsors – above all with our new Presenting Partner “Migros” and the main sponsors “Medica” “Opel” “Smirnoff” and “Heineken” – encourages us to plan for and head toward the future with our energetic team. M-Budget new Presenting Partner and other new partners The Street Parade Association is exceptionally pleased to have, for the first time, a Presenting Partner in “Migros.” Its philosophy, its national importance and with its values fit perfectly with the Street Parade. Migros will be present at the Street Parade with its brand “M-Budget” and will meet the needs of our visitors. We are also happy that our long-term main partners “Medica” “Opel” “Smirnoff Ice” and “Heineken” will continue their engagement in the Street Parade. “Medica Medical Laboratories Dr. F. Kaeppeli” again supports numerous prevention campaigns and measures of the Street Parade and will be on location to distribute ear protection for the well-being of our visitors. We are also proud that with “Zweifel Pommy Chips,” “Ovomaltine,” “Valais Wasser,” “Möhl Shorley,” und “Metro Boutique,” many additional Swiss and Zürich companies are supporting the Street Parade.
