Mind Conspiracy – Soul Shifter [RKP]

Continuing to add new talent to their roster, Ruben Karapetyan’s RKP welcomes Mind Conspiracy to the label for his debut single. Hailing from Greece, Nikos Isagioglou aka Mind Conspiracy has been finding the creative space between progressive and melodic house & techno for well over a decade. With initial productions dating back to 2013, it was 2020 where Mind Conspiracy truly made his mark. A creative partnership with Eat My Hat, along with several collaborations with the label boss Ziger, propelled the Athens resident into the progressive house spotlight. Across a three-year stretch Mind Conspiracy would appear on the label ten times, while also recording key projects for Eleatics and Protagonist Dark. Continuing on an upwards trajectory as 2025 approaches its second quarter, Mind Conspiracy adds RKP to his resume with ‘Soul Shifter’, alongside remixes from Sinan Arsan and Liam Garcia.

Beginning with the prophetic sounds of the Orignal Mix, Mind Conspiracy aims squarely at the dancefloor with great success. A tough DJ friendly intro sets the pace for chugging basslines and rolling percussive arrangements to create an energetic first act. A series of phasing synth mutations and cross-cultural motifs serve as a prelude for a deconstructed vocal chant to emerge across the main break, before luminous tonal themes take centrestage for an otherworldly finale.

Making his label debut with the first interpretation of ‘Soul Shifter’ is Sinan Arsan. Hailing from Turkey, Sinan first emerged as a producer in 2019 with a release on Stellar Fountain's Black division, before going on to land projects via Droid9 South America, Future Avenue and Soundteller Records across 2020. Immediately recognized for his groovy progressive sound, Sinan would earn the support of genre tastemaker Hernan Cattaneo, while adding Deep Down Music, Juicebox Music, Mango Alley and onedotsixtwo to his resume across the next four calendar years. Now, opening 2025 with one of his most anticipated projects to date, Sinan debuts on RKP with a stunning rendition of ‘Soul Shifter’. Landing with a refined approach, the Ankara resident finds success with an stripped-back dancefloor minded framework. Warm kick drums and finely manicured grooves marry beautifully with grainy percussion, deconstructed vocals and pyrotechnic effects, resulting in a dark journey perfectly dialed for those late night dancefloor moments.

The release concludes with Liam Garcia making his label debut with the second and final interpretation of ‘Soul Shifter’. Residing in Scotland, Liam Garcia has been releasing various shades of house music since 2013. On the strength of early productions ‘Stringing’ and ‘Rhythm Complex’, the Aberdeen resident was tipped as a rising talent to watch. Eventually settling on more of a progressive approach to production, Liam would go on to record key projects for some of the genre’s long standing imprints in BCSA and Stripped Recordings. With upcoming releases scheduled for Clubsonica and Freegrant Music, Liam now adds RKP to resume with a stirring take on ‘Soul Shifter’. Bringing a pure progressive state of mind, Liam reassembles the themes from the original for his own uniquely emotive approach. The distinguished elements from the Original sit atop thunderous kick drums and key changing grooves, for what results in a cosmically correct peaktime rendition to round out the release in style.
