Mariano Fuchilo – New Origin | Adventure [Auditen Music]

Dynacom's Auditen Music returns, welcoming Mariano Fuchilo to the label for his debut EP. The Argentinean artist first appeared on the progressive underground in January of this year with a single courtesy of Julian Rodriguez's Massive Harmony Records. Now set to embark on just his second project the Buenos Aires resident lands on Auditen with 'New Origin | Adventure'.

Beginning with ‘New Origin’ Mariano works rhythmic hooks over a warm, rolling groove and waves of percussion. Smooth and effortless, the narrative evolves with dreamy atmospheres descending over the framework. Additional effects and emotive chord changes build momentum before the main break elevates mood with fragmented melodies and warm swells perfectly shifting energy into a driving finale.

The companion piece ‘Adventure’ is equally impressive with it’s robust framework and hypnotic qualities. Again backed by thick slabs of bass, it’s dreamy atmospheres and compelling arps carry a lovely meditative quality. Shimmering overlays add further fuel to the fire, building waves of emotion across the first act, before a tranquil break elevates mood further into a poignant finale. Perhaps more emotive than it's predecessor it rounds out a massive EP from Mariano Fuchilo who appears to be one of Argentina's freshest new names in progressive house. Highly recommended.
