Kamilo Sanclemente – Galactic Resonance [Deepwibe Underground]

Deepwibe Underground rounds out the summer season by welcoming Kamilo Sanclemente back to the label for a new single. Long regarded as one of his country's premiere progressive house artists, the Cali resident has notched a litany of successes over the last decade. Prolific and consistent in equal measure, Kamilo has earned the praise of electronic tastemakers Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge and Nick Warren, while showcasing his music via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, The Soundgarden, Replug and more. Also finding a home on Deepwibe Underground, Kamilo has delivered three singles and a remix since making his label debut in October of 2021. Now, fresh of his EP to commemorate Clubsonica's one hundredth release, Kamilo lands back on Deepwibe Underground with 'Galactic Resonance'.

For an artist as prolific as Kamilo his consistent level of quality productions is nothing short of remarkable. Although the Colombian has delved into organic waters on occasion (and with great success I might add), his latest 'Galactic Resonance' falls into the progressive realm and operates at a level of refinement we've come to expect from Kamilo. Ghostly vocal pads, delicate arps and gated motifs blanket a warm, pulsating groove and flashy percussion for a first act that cruises at a sleek liquid-like level. It's the main break where the memories are made though, as Kamilo crafts an epic interlude for the ages; emotive key changes, low end swells and rising modulation work perfectly to create a colourful crescendo that astute dancefloors with certainly appreciate, ultimately spearheading an invigorating finale. Highly recommended.
