Releases Justin Rezvani – Here Be Dragons [Übersee Music] By Will James Posted on 8th May 2023 4 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Namito is an Iranian artist living in Germany and he is a well-respected melodic house artist who also runs a record label called, Übersee Music. Übersee Music has previously featured music from people including Bebetta, Armen Miran, Sabo, Robbie Akbal, Marc Romboy and Phonique. The record label’s latest offering gives exposure to a new talent making his first-ever release and features two tracks by Justin Rezvani. After hearing the music, it’s no surprise that Justin Rezvani has been signed to Namito’s label, as they both share a similar style that blends uplifting synths with organic percussion and deep atmosphere. One of the tracks also features the voice of Persian vocalist Tannaz Abbassioun who has also worked on music with Namito, so it seems logical to assume she may have linked with Justin Rezvani. “Here Be Dragons” is the title track and it opens the release with tinkling percussion and a rolling bassline that is layered with a juddering synth, increasing the pace in the groove. The first breakdown section adds chanting vocal phrases that open up in the main breakdown where the melody also takes hold. “Begoo” features vocals by Tannaz Abbassioun and begins with the rising tones of looped pads that are soon joined by throbbing sub-bass. It’s got ethereal atmospherics and the vocal is teased in short snippets that are washed in delay before being introduced in all its sensual glory. Its techy melody synth adds to the track’s poignant emotion.
