Ignacio Corazza – Remember / River Plate [Dopamine White]

The latest release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Ignacio Corazza to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, Ignacio first emerged in 2020 with releases via BCSA, Future Avenue and RYNTH. Often finding that sweet spot between organic and progressive house, the Argentine's productions caught the attention of Hernan Cattaneo who has been a supporter moving forward. Further successes came with key projects for Antrim's Or Two Strangers, Madloch's 3rd Avenue and Jelly For The Babies The Purr. Now adding Dopamine white to his resume, Ignacio debuts on the label with 'River Plate', alongside remixes from Diego R and Erich Von Kollar.

Beginning with 'Remember', Ignacio continues to lean in an organic direction. Whether it's the hauntingly layered musical fragments or the sleek, meditative framework which houses his exotic percussive arrangements, there is a calming vibe to his work that you just can't ignore. It's this sleek storyboarding which leads to the companion and title selection 'River Plate'. Ignacio's charismatic production charm and laid back yet youthful exuberance is on full display here, as clever coaxes of incandescent tones, soulful overlays and rolling organics fuel what is a charming seven-minute journey.

Making his label debut and providing the lone interpretation of 'Remember' is Diego R. Hailing from Argentina, Diego Rodriguez aka Diego R began his journey into electronic music as a DJ first, before entering the world of production under the guidance of Andrea Cassino and Emiliano Folgar of Interaxxis fame. 3rd Avenue, Droid9, Strangers Beats and more have been landing spots for his progressive sound, as he now makes his Dopamine White debut with a groovy take on 'Remember'. Taking inspiration from the original, the Buenos Aires resident flexes his free-thinking muscles and crafts a version that lands closer to progressive minded territory. Additional drive resonates from life-like pulses and deliberate percussion, while never letting go of its tranquil vibration and haunted musicality, which ultimately makes this a dancefloor delight.

The release concludes with Erich Von Kollar also making his label debut with the lone interpretation of 'River Plate'. The Hungarian artist and Stellar Fountain label boss has been a fixture of the progressive music scene for the better part of two decades. Choosey in his projects, Erich has compiled an impressive discography with key releases via Balkan Connection, BCSA, ICONYC, Massive Harmony and more. Having made an appearance on parent label Dopamine Music in 2013, Erich now debuts on the White division with a stunning interpretation of 'River Plate'. Punchy, warm and undeniably organic; its chunky low end, sleek effects and creamy chord stabs work in perfect sonic unison. An expansive centrepiece sits at the heart of the journey, highlighted by broken beats and hazy harmonics, which perfectly set the stage for a transcendent finale. A sensational interpretation from Erich, making for successful Dopamine White debuts for himself, Diego R and Ignacio Corazza.
