Hailing from the United States, Danny Kadesky has gained considerable momentum since adopting the Dark Devotion moniker in 2023. Armed with a melodic house and techno sound that often focuses on the darker realms of the genre, it was Dark Devotion’s early projects via Exit Reality and Natura Viva which set the course for subsequent standout offerings via Celestial Records, Dear Deer, Monkey League and WHITE NOIR across the next calendar year. Continuing to perfect his craft into 2025, Dark Devotion now brings his haunting, hypnotic sound to Polyptych Limited with 'Lost In Your Eyes'. The eerie qualities of ‘Don't Wanna Hide’ further cement Dark Devotion’s traditional take on melodic house and techno, forecasting a darker underbelly, spooky vocal fragments and a wavy arpeggiated narrative. As somewhat of an extension of his previous projects, Dark Devotion’s metallic motifs provide a memorable main theme across the main break, before a tasteful build unveils a set of elusive chord stabs which are sure to cast a spell over the dancefloor. ‘Lost In Your Eyes’ follows in fine style and further cements the Denver resident's elusive vision. Punchy kick drums, prophetic effects and quirky synth lines make for some of Dark Devotion’s most captivating sounds to date, while fragmented vocals and an ominous break shift energy for the ultimate array of buzzing stabs and psychedelic sonics to highlight a spirited finale. The third and final original ‘Quiet Thoughts’ opts for a tougher more techno oriented approach, steering towards darker monochromes once again, while consciously creating energy as grooves pulse and effects orbit. Further flexing his creative prowess across the main break, Dark Devotion lightens the mood, incorporating a trance-inspired piano which emerges in grand fashion, before the ultimate dark to light contrast ensues as prophetic tones and haunted vocal refrains steal the air across a thunderous finale to round out the EP on a massive note.
