Robert R. Hardy – Verum Remixes [Superordinate Music] Superordinate Music returns in a big way this week, showcasing new remixes of Robert R. Hardy's 'Verum'. Originally released in April of this year as part of the 'Emotions' EP it found the Hungarian artist going deep and soulful, drifting away from some of his more progressive minded material into ADID territory. It foreshadowed much of what was to come from Robert and remains a special part of his discography. Now as the seasons shift we see Superordinate inviting Solid Stone and Nicholas Van Orton to reinvent the track. First up and making his debut on the label is Solid Stone who is best known for his gorgeous progressive creations courtesy of Max Graham's Cycles imprint and Tim Penner's Slideways Music. Here he up's the tempo a touch and adds considerable melodic charm. The production is warm, round and inviting as contoured walls of bass move through chord changes with detailed percussion and dulcet motifs adorning the framework. The break although relatively brief all things Read More

The UK artist last appeared on the Portuguese imprint in February of 2016 with his 'Coruscate' EP. Now making a much anticipated return to Flow Vinyl Dale presents his latest EP entitled 'Nans'. Dale has always treaded the waters between progressive house and techno with an effortless ease. This EP once again showcases sensibilities from both with the lead track sitting comfortably in the latter. The UK artist's neatly tailored production is on display here once again with crisp, detailed design and an electric mood that's sure to be fire on the dance floor. Monojoke – Redemption [Soundteller Records] Not slowing down, Deersky's Soundteller Records continues on a great run with a brand new EP from Monojoke this week. The Polish artist remixed 'This Is Not Happening' by Federico Monachesi just last week for the label and also released his massive 'Paradisum' single through Tuxedo's Electronic Tree. Now Monojoke returns to Soundteller for his first EP entitled 'Redemption'. Long time Monojoke fans love his unabashedly, grandiose approach to progressive music and generally that's what we get from the Polish artist. 'Redemption' however is a much deeper and groovier affair which serves as a nice change of pace. The unique design qualities remain; vibrant, effervescent sounds resonance brightly but a chunkier foundation and spacious framework change the mood considerably, allowing the mid tempo BPM and soulful motifs to create a lovely, laid back vibe. There definitely seems to be a lot of deep house trends crossing over into the progressive world and this is further evidence of tha Read More

Hansgod's debut album comes at an appropriate moment, one where there is a demand for such a collection. His recent releases have showcased an ever expanding sonic palette and although this is a dance floor oriented project it's something which certainly gets explored on 'Egolies'. Beginning with the first track 'Stole My Heart' you get an immediate sense of what Hansgod is all about. Spacious, meticulously produced grooves where all the elements breathe perfectly and provide maximum aural impact as a result. The vocal elements emanate soulful qualities while bulbous bass stabs and tight percussion keep the seven minute journey locked on the dance floor. It not only sets the tone for the entire collection but leads nicely into 'SMAC'. The tempo and ene Read More

Long noted for his clean, detailed productions Federico now makes a much anticipated return to Soundteller with a new single alongside remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente & Golan Zocher, Monojoke and Paul Kardos. The original mix is another excellent example of Federico's pristine production quality. Incredibly spacious, all the elements seem to sit perfectly in the mix, from a meaty, rolling groove to waves of vibrant percussion. When you've got a framework this good the simplest elements tend to sound monstrous and that's the case with the arp and shifting atmospheres here. Nothing gets lost in the mix and the gaseous effects which spiral throughout the break are a nice, subtle touch which adds drama and tension. A pure progressive love Read More
