Fresh off releases for Proton Music and Pro-B-Tech Records, the much loved trio continue a strong 2017 with 'Trespassing' alongside remixes from Framewerk, Tripswitch and Lonya & Maydan. Diversity has long been a trait in the Michael, Levan and Stiven Rivic arsenal. The trio drifts effortlessly from deep house to progressive house, often blurring the lines of conventional genres. Their latest 'Trespassing' accomplishes that and so much more. Fluid rhythms and warm bass swells combined with cascading themes and shimmering pads make for several magic moments. A serene break sits as the perfect emotive centrepiece before the funky roll and groovy electronics carry you home. Robert R. Hardy – Gypsy Water [Balkan Connection South America] The latest from Nicolas Van Orton's Balkan Connection South America welcomes Robert R Hardy back to the label for a brand new EP. The Hungarian artist has had his best year on record, most notably with the release of his debut album on SoulArt Recordings. A staple of the Beatport progressive house charts for quite some time it showcased Robert's best work and was a favourite amongst many DJs from Hernan Cattaneo to Sasha. Now making his much anticipated return to BCSA Robert presents a brand new two track EP entitled 'Gypsy Water'. Robert's versatility can't be overstated. From a career which began with deeper more atmospheric productions the Hungarian artist has grown with more progressive minded pieces as well as late night dubby material. It's a great repertoire to have and he mixes it up really well from project to project. On 'Gypsy Water' we get something quite deep with great musicality. Michael A – Electronic Culture [Genesis Music] Genesis Music returns following a two month hiatus with a brand new track from label boss Michael A. Although Genesis may have taken a slight break it's boss has been as prolific as ever this year. With a recent release on Praveen Achary's Juicebox Music riding high in the Beatport progressive house charts his latest single 'Electronic Culture' is much anticipated. When you put out a single track release it's got to be something quite special I think, something which can stand alone and be a powerful force. 'Electronic Culture' is certainly that with its stellar design, trippy motifs and lucid flow. The production is nice and round, full of great character with cosmic effects and a meandering haze advancing the storyboard perfectly. It's just one of those tracks that has a cool vibe without sounding forced in the slightest. I'd say it's one of Michael's strongest tracks to date or at the very least on par with the Sudbeat EP earlier this year. Highly Recommended. Buy: http:/ Read More

Beginning with 'Antia' you get a sense of what a great meeting of the minds this project is. Clocking in at ten minutes it's an odyssey through astral arps, cosmic motifs and emotive soundscapes. Two breaks shift the narrative nicely with smooth rhythms and warm rushes carrying the journey to a dreamy third act finale. The companion piece 'Nocturnal' comes in darker, moody and equally brilliant. Fuelled by warm beats, cosmic atmospheres and wispy vocals it tells a compelling story over the course of its nine minute journey. Split into two breaks, the second act proves to be the most poignant with delicate hypnotic qualities, frayed effects and luminous pads adding their own heartrending moments. Gorgeous music from Nicolas. The first interpretation of 'Amilur' is provided by Erdi Irmak. Well known for a blend of progressive and trance, Pranay's hybrid style certainly shines through on 'Mushu On Acid'. Beginning with a tough, driving groove and lively synths it's beaming with vibrant energy and positive vibes. Cascading motifs, playful acid lines and a string of timely builds make for a huge first act before stripping down into a massive break. Unabashedly epic, the centrepiece flows through choppy drum rolls before boiling over into a huge drop and blissful conclusion. Abity – End [Stellar Fountain] Long time Nick Warren favourites Abity return to Stellar Fountain this week with a brand new EP. We last heard from the Argentinean duo with a stunning two track offering for Deersky's Soundteller Records. Released in July, it was perhaps one of the summers most inspired EPs with distinctive, cosmic design and out of this work production details. Needless to say their return to Stellar Fountain is hugely anticipated and it includes three brand new productions. Beginning with 'Cube' we're immediately treated to some interesting design and programming. Crisp, detailed and somewhat unconventional percussion stands out along with granular dust which loops in and out of the framework. An alien-like arp eventually enters the picture and flows through some inspired modulation, ultimately carrying the track into the break. The centrepiece is a tension filled masterpiece with frayed rolls setting the foundation, increasing in intensity ever so slightly as the arp keeps the rhythmic feel of Read More
