Manual Music kicks off 2017 with something truly special. Nearly a decade after it’s initial release on Deep Focus, ‘Been Here Before’ by Guy J gets a remix treatment by Namatjira. These are not just a couple of new remixes, but these were born out of the idea to create an ode to Jerry van Schie, co-label owner of Deep Records and Deep Focus, and driving force behind the Groovecollection brand who passed away in 2016 after losing his fight to cancer. Last year, we released three remixes of one of the biggest progressive classics of all time, Valentino Kanzyani’s “Flying.” One of those remixers, Cid Inc, actually gifted us with two mixes, and the second is something truly special. Whereas his main mix was better suited for deep sets and small room environments, his VIP mix, energetic and more focused around its groovy bass line, gives DJ’s a spacious track for big rooms and peak moments. Irish duo Psycatron also contributed a huge mix to the first package.
