Argentina is a country with a celebrated progressive house heritage. One of the key figures at the inception of the movement was Marcelo Vasami. First hitting the scene in 2005, the Buenos Aires-based artist quickly became one of the genre's most recognizable names, eventually showcasing his music on Sudbeat and Hope Recordings. He continues to be one of his country's most popular DJs, having shared the stage with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Replug label boss Cid Inc. Monojoke makes a much anticipated return to Juicebox Music this week with his 'Arterials' EP. Paul Hazendonk's hugely successful track 'Sanction' gets new life this week with a special set of fresh interpretations. Originally released in December of 2016 alongside remixes from Hernan Cattaneo & Martin Garcia and Boss Axis. It marked the Dutch label's 200th release and enjoyed an extended stay in Beatport's Progressive house chart as well. Now almost a year later we see the label inviting Rauschhaus, Sezer Uysal and Idham to reinvent the track for 2017. One of this year's hottest and most prolific artists has undoubtedly been Rauschhaus. The German producer has seen his music showcased by Parquet, Steyoyoke and Traum where his modern melodic style has flourished.
