Astral Records closes out the month of February by welcoming Bruno Longhitano back to the label for a new EP. Hailing from Argentina, the Rosario resident first emerged in 2019 with releases via Addicted Music and Us and Them Records. Instantly recognized for his haunted minimalism and deep dark melodies, Bruno would go on to record subsequent projects for Pursuit and Running Clouds across the next two calendar years, before making his Astral Records debut with a contribution to the labels popular Celestial collection. Moving forward, the Argentine would further his creative partnership with the imprint, recording his first artist EP States of Essence in August of 2022. Continuing to develop his craft, the onset of 2025 would usher in a career highlight for Bruno, making an impressive debut on Yottos Odd One Out imprint with Vested Interest. Now, continuing to build momentum as we approach the years second quarter, Bruno makes a welcome return to Astral Records with Attitudes. Comprised of three highly stylized creations, it is the striking sounds of Contraptions which set the tone for the release. Bruno crafts a deeply engaging piece, complete with clustered tonal cascades, neatly manicured percussion and a splash of orbiting sonics, the latter of which forecasts a colossal triplet-style drop and emotive finale. Selection two Fixed finds Bruno stepping decisively on the gas for a proper club-effective journey. Tight, crunchy and bursting with ultrasonic energy, its an air of unpredictability which makes this such an inspired creation, one which flows through pyrotechnic effects and skittering percussive arrangements, before reverberating into panoramic arps and buzzing synth mutations for a finale of meandering musical co-actions Acting as the EPs closer are the glitched out emotive sounds of the title selection Attitudes, an electric journey highlighted by vibrant tonal themes, spastic sonics and moody motifs. An amalgamation of sound which not only proves to be prophetic, but also groovy and cerebral in equal measure.
