As well as two top originals there is a remix from Athea to complete a fine package. This is not the first time Mongo has been on the label after Otherside back in summer, and once again it’s an essential affair. Spacewalker goes first and is a deep and supple number with airy hi hats. The groove is well rooted and a frazzled synth line adds drama. It’s one that will take dancers to the edges of the galaxy and do so in style with a great sense of atmosphere. The remix from Athea is a darker affair with wiggling synth stabs and long-tailed chords that add suspense and intrigue throughout. Last of all, Bend the Knee is a more melodic track with well craft synths rippling over the uninterrupted drums. Some mysterious vocals add to the spaceyness of it all and the twinkling keys are a nice touch to add some colour.
