Featured small Premiere Naeiiv – Follow The Unknown [Radikon] By ProgressiveAstronaut Posted on 4th January 2024 2 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Radikon regular 'Naeiiv' delivers yet another manifold masterpiece into his library of cinematic house operas. The south german savant invites us to 'The Puzzle', a collaboration with 'Several Definitions'. Both combine their production veteranism to create a riddled and complex manufacturing build around wide open melody arcs with a loose and simultaneously precise detuned edge, seasoned with stuttering synth shots over a hammering kick pattern. The introduction of 'Follow The Unknown' alone features more harmonic complexity than the majority of contemporary electronic music releases. This short but impressive melancholic uprising gets a twisty cut off to reveal the true nature of its artistic intent, which is nothing less than the revelation of a wild dance floor beast. 'Falling Down' contrasts rhythmic simplicity born out of a carefully curated drum design with a borderline freaked out synthesizer orgy. Both elements are carefully placed over the intense arrangement in between warm safe havens of peace and quiet.
