Ziger & VangArt – Inverted [Eat My Hat Music]

The latest offering from Eat My Hat Music finds label boss Ziger back in the spotlight with a new single in collaboration with rising talent VangArt. 2021 has proved to be a great success thus far for Ziger. The Greek artist and Eat My Hat boss has continued to impress with key collaborations with Mind Conspiracy and Nosh and SJ, while also remixing Gabriel Filip and Goda Brother and Ric Niels in fine style. Ziger's philosophy with Eat My Hat has always been to nurture new talent alongside key industry veterans for a cohesive blend of artists. It's a practice which has made the label bold, innovative and a standout in melodic house and techno. Now as 2021 winds to a close, Ziger pairs with a new Greek talent by the name of VangArt for their first collaboration entitled 'Inverted', alongside a remix from Mind Conspiracy.

Beginning with the original mix Ziger and VangArt combine their creative powers for a slice of peak time astral techno. Energetic and crunchy from the outset, it's muscular beats and fiery bassline unite for a rippling, machine gun style groove. Ethereal vocals add emotion and depth as the narrative evolves, while pulsating rhythms, striking effects and growling synths bring drama and anticipation leading into the main break. Devilish and emotive in equal measure, the centrepiece builds anticipation through supernatural vocal phrasing and trance inducing hooks, ultimately leading to a powerful drum roll which sparks a commanding drop and heads down finale.

The release concludes with label artist Mind Conspiracy returning for the lone interpretation of 'Inverted'. Since making his Eat My Hat debut in March of 2020, the Greek artist's peak time sound has flourished on the label, with follow-up remixes for Ziger's 'Still Here' and Kenan Savrun's 'Ethereal' landing in August and November respectively. 2021 brought Mind Conspiracy's biggest project to date though, a special collaboration with Eat My Hat boss Ziger entitled 'Your Way'. Now on the strength of a remix for Gabriel Filip and Goda Brother, Mind Conspiracy makes a welcome return to Eat My Hat with a powerful rendition of 'Inverted'. Sitting as an ideal complement to the original, it's stripped yet powerful groove resonates on a deeper level, complemented with subterranean beats, sinister stabs and razor-sharp rhythms. Mind bending effects and deliberate percussive arrangements drive momentum across the first act, eventually melting down into a cavernous break and thunderous drop for an electrically charged finale. A massive remix from Mind Conspiracy which rounds out a must have debut collaboration from Ziger and VangArt, bringing to light a new artist who you will definitely be hearing more about in the future.
