The latest from DJ Zombi's Beat Boutique finds Weekend Heroes and Dmitry Molosh teaming up for a heavyweight collaboration. Israeli duo Weekend Heroes have been back in the spotlight of late with the launch of their HIGARA imprint and two well received singles. Similarly Belarus artist Dmitry Molosh has had a tremendous year with releases on Armadillo Records, BeatFreak Recordings and Sudbeat Music. Now bringing their creative talents together Weekend Heroes and Dmitry unite for a new single alongside remixes from Chris Cargo and Paul Deep.

Beginning with the original mix the trio move into dark territory with a boundless groove, charged rhythms and clusters of devilish percussion. Aptly titled, it’s both powerful and mysterious with a flair for the dramatic, particularly across a well crafted and hugely emotive break. A touch grandiose and full of amazing sonic artefacts, it’s a centrepiece to unite your crowd before taking them to euphoria’s top floor.

Chris Cargo has been burning up the underground since reappearing a few years ago. His If You Wait imprint plays host to some of his most sought after creations along with those of his contemporaries. No stranger to Beat Boutique, the Irish artist delivered his 'Shimmer' EP for the Israeli imprint in May of this year, with the title cut currently sitting atop his Beatport best sellers. Now landing back on the label Chris provides a deeper rework of 'Power Plant'. Backed by a full, rolling groove it's the effects narrative which ultimately shines here. Reprocessed elements from the original make up a big part of the storyboard, which at times is unpredictable, free flowing with an abundance of fresh designs throughout the first act, it ultimately leads to an emotive break and killer drop which ushers in a more musical finale. Gorgeous work from Chris.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Power Plant' is Paul Deep. Hailing from Argentina, releases on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Lonya's Asymmetric Recordings and Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music highlight his discography. Now making a welcome debut on Beat Boutique, the Buenos Aires resident caps the release off with a great remix of 'Power Plant'. Following a DJ friendly intro the piece builds in methodical fashion with driving beats, luminous overlays and a strong rhythmic core. Sitting firmly in the pure progressive realm it's energy and drive is palpable, building momentum with each successive loop as icy pads provide a smooth transition through the second act. The second of two breaks melts down to a reservoir of fragmented melodies and phasing noise, ultimately highlighting the piece before a charming build and stellar apex ignites a chugging finale. A wicked remix from Paul which rounds out this star studded release from DJ Zombi's Beat Boutique. Highly recommended.
