Tim Robert – Absolute Relativity [Clinique Recordings]

The latest release from Clinique Recordings welcomes Tim Robert back to the label for a brand new single. The US artist last appeared on the Russian imprint in February of this year with a remix of 'Filaments' by Audioglider. Now making his much anticipated return Tim presents his latest single entitled 'Absolute Relativity' alongside remixes from Alex Pich and Dyo Atoma.

I can still remember back to Tim's first release ever when he appeared on Mistique's famed 'Volume' series. It was August of 2010 and he's come a long way as artist, building an impressive discography, almost methodically, piece by piece. Never one to over produce Tim has chosen his projects wisely and been patient in traversing the underground, which has ultimately contributed to him being one of the progressive scene's most respected artists. His latest 'Absolute Relativity' brings more of the genre's pure sound with warm, rolling grooves and tasteful melodies. A touch spacey and quite meditative at moments, it makes for a deeply hypnotic and very pleasant seven minute journey. Great for the dance floor or your iPod and likely one of Tim's most refined creations to date.
Both remixes take the track to slightly different territory which adds depth and variety across the release.

First up Alex Pich returns to the label following a contribution to the 'Summer Clinique' collection released in July. The Russian artist ups the tempo slightly for a tougher more driving mix which carries an enormous presence. The melodic elements translate nicely, albeit in a slightly less distinct way as the mix really is all about the groove and the power that it carries. Great remix from Alex.

The release concludes with Dyo Atoma returning to the label for his third appearance. Russian artist Sam Scheme and Jiminy Hop make up the Dyo Atoma production team and have been on a very nice streak since their first release in September of 2016. Just last week they released their first single for Clinique entitled 'Tazmania' and now they return with a great remix of 'Absolute Relativity'. Definitely the biggest mix on the package, the Russian duo transform the original into a peak time bomb with a dark chunky groove, deadly effects and cool modern flair. It's big and closes the release not only on a high note but leaves you wanting to hear more from this exciting duo. Superb release from Clinique Recordings with Tim Robert continuing to impress. Highly Recommended.
