MiraculuM – The Beauty of Existence [Balkan Connection]

Balkan Connection returns this week with a brand new single from MiraculuM. The Hungarian artist last appeared on the Serbian imprint in December of 2015 with 'Quantumswarm' and more recently released his well received 'Wormhole' single on Deersky's Soundteller Records. Now making his much anticipated return to Balkan Connection MiraculuM presents his latest studio creation entitled 'The Beauty of Existence' alongside remixes from Michael A and Fer J. 

Out just last week was the aforementioned 'Wormhole' and again it showcased a blend of very unique sound design and quirky melodies. No doubt one of MiraculuM's all time best but he's managed to come up with something of equal brilliance on 'The Beauty of Existence'. It's dreamy, melodic, a touch weird and very interesting as a result. A shuffly groove gives it some immediate dance floor appeal, perhaps more than most MiraculuM tracks actually. The luminous glow emanating from the melodies is wonderfully offset with buzzing synths which border on the exotic and expand as the track breaks down. It's this distinctive theme which carries the track's second act and once the tension is lifted those melodic elements sound all the more beautiful. Great stuff once again from MiraculuM.

Both remixes bring a lot to the release as well with Michael A taking it even closer to the dance floor with a direct progressive rendition. Dark, rolling grooves and tight rhythms set the tone as the original elements slowly get worked in. Chopped and reprocessed to perfection they flow into a noise driven break before dropping out, making the groove all the more impactful as a result. Great remix from Michael and definitely one for the Sudbeat fans out there.

Fer J closes the release out by going deeper and more melodic. The result is a smooth, emotive rendition that brings a reflective tone. Processed keys, timely drum fills and a meaty groove flow wonderful before the main break seals it's emotional beauty. Synth overlays add an epic flair, leading to a delicate build and gorgeous finale. Lovely remix from Fer J and another great progressive minded release from Balkan Connection. Don't miss it.
