DJ AroZe & Biskuwi – Dysania [Steyoyoke]

DJ AroZe and Biskuwi make their collaborative debut on Steyoyoke with 'Dysania'. The former, hailing from Tel Aviv has been noted for his unique blend of progressive house and techno. It's this cross pollination that has seen him land releases on ICONYC, Soundteller Records and Steyoyoke. Similarly Biskuwi has also carved out a unique place in the electronic underground, showcasing his music on Stripped Recordings, Soundteller Records and Steyoyoke. Now both returning to one of Germany's finest melodic techno imprints, DJ AroZe & Biskuwi present their debut collaboration as part of the label's critically acclaimed 'Ethereal Techno' Series.

From the opening bars of ‘Dysania’ you get an immediate sense of how strong the creative synergy between DJ AroZe and Biskuwi is. It’s tough beats, perfectly contoured bass and percussive flurries unite for a tight rhythmic core. Astral arps and modular swells advance the narrative with an effortless ease, splitting moods between the cosmic and emotive. Clap delays add dynamic moments before the framework strips down into a compelling second act. Drama and tension are hallmarks of the Berlin imprint, which AroZe and Biskuwi deliver in fine fashion here. Building to an effervescent sizzle the centrepiece captivates and excites with a rare unpredictably, before eventually melting down into an exhilarating final act. A stunning creation from AroZe and Biskuwi, which sits as a standout on this fine 'Ethereal Techno' collection from Steyoyoke.
