Agustín Ficarra & Teleport-X – New Beginnings [Deepwibe Underground]

The latest offering from Deepwibe Underground finds Agustin Ficarra & Teleport-X presenting their first ever collaboration. The Argentinean duo have both achieved measurable success in their respective solo careers, earning the support of Hernan Cattaneo while showcasing their music via Droid9, Nature Rec., Soundteller and Strangers Beats. Now joining forces for the first time, Agustin Ficarra & Teleport-X land on Deepwibe Underground with 'New Beginnings' alongside a remix from K-Loveski.

Getting underway with the original mix, Agustin and Teleport-X combine their extensive forces for a nostalgic slice of progressive house. From its full, muscular groove comes driving percussion and buzzing effects. Evolving with power and momentum across the first act, placid pads provide a serene backdrop for a landscape of bubbly electronics. A majestic break sits at the heart of the journey, expertly crafted and concise in delivery, it’s effervescent rumble builds, as rising effects marry harmonic cascades for a commanding drop and enormous finale.

Returning to the label for his third appearance and providing the lone interpretation is K Loveski. Beloved for his groovy progressive style, the Russian artist lays claim to releases via
Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, Balance Music, Droid9 and Nature Rec, while also earning the support of Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J. Having delivered remixes for Kostya Outta and Teleport-X earlier this year for Deepwibe Underground, K Loveski now lands back on the label with a gorgeous take on 'New Beginnings'. Spongy beats bring immediate bounce at the outset, getting encased in mounds of romping bass as fragmented arps and vocal snips work in perfect sonic unison. Utilized beautifully, the vocal elements provide moments of warmth and reflection during the break, set nicely against organ-like atmospheres and pushing onwards to a heavenly finale.
